Friends of Burr School
Participate in the Bucktown 5K and support Jonathan Burr Elementary School through our charity partner, Friends of Burr. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to enhancing the educational experience at Burr School. Friends of Burr is a vibrant community of parents, teachers, administrators, and local business members, all working together to uplift the school.
Friends of Burr focuses on fundraising to collaborate with staff and administration, aiming to create a strong and respected neighborhood school. Due to underfunding, Burr School relies on additional financial support to foster growth and development. Current initiatives include improving technology, arts programs, and physical infrastructure. Friends of Burr celebrates the diversity and individuality of Burr students and their families.
